A little about me :-  

 

My earliest memories as a child always include my first dog, a fantastic Standard Poodle called Whiskey. He was in many ways my best friend. I have shared my life with many amazing animals since including a Great Dane, Jack Russell, several cats, a Hamster and tropical fish.

 

I worked for six years in Edinburgh Zoo. Whilst my day job was not directly involved with animals I volunteered on weekends to work with some wonderful creatures. I worked with big cats such as Tigers, Lynx and Cheetah, and large mammals such as Giraffe and Rhino. I also worked with Primates, Birds and Reptiles of many different species.

 

Now I am very lucky to be self employed working with animals, something that has been a dream for many years.

 

My current dog is Sasha, a rescue American Akita. She also goes by the name of Bear, I'm sure she thinks she's one at times. I love every minute with her, she is a special dog. Here she is in a typically dynamic pose.
